(More customer reviews)I don't know what "Coop" is talking about. I have several of these mounts and have no problem with them. I drive a 07 Dakota, stick them right on the windshield (only 1 at a time is ever on the glass)and can see everything that I need to and should see, no safety/vision problems!Besides, an etrex is too small to use safely while driving, get a bigger screened unit. I put the Iway 600C on the same mount and it couldn't have more support.Overbuilt? Heavy duty? You bet!! What's wrong with that? I've even installed on on my bike, a Kawasaki Concours.
