(More customer reviews)I have used the Hunninbird sonar for several years and it works great. It takes the guess work out of fishing. It is very sensative and provides accurate depth reading and when fish are in the area, drawback is you cannot really tell fish depth, but with water depth, using this in relatively shallow pools you can estimate pretty easy. Using this to track fish I have caught largemouth bass in PA and OH (in inland lakes). Would recommend for the price it is a nifty tool to have.

With the Humminbird RF45 Advance Remote Sonar Sensor (RSS), you get an even better performance from your SmartCast wireless remote fish finder. This unit provides you with a greater depth capability, and longer in-water usage time than the RSS device that originally came with your SmartCast system. The RF45 features water surface temperature readings, and programmable two-channel operation so you can fish with a buddy without crossing signals, as well as a flashing, internal light that you can switch on or off for night fishing. The RF45 is designed for use with Humminbird's SmartCast RF15, RF25, RF35 fish finders, although it will work as replacement sensor for the RF10, RF20 and RF30 as well, but will not provide temperature readings or extended depth performance. The RF45 is intended for use in the US and Canada only, and is backed by Humminbird's one-year limited warranty.
