(More customer reviews)The lock down adapter could fit more snug but if you are using the portable units by Humminbird then this is the only adapter that will fit.It is designed to fit on a variety of mount surfaces.I used a piece of plastic cutting board to secure it then mount it to a Scotty Fishfinder Base.
I said it could be more snug so I used a small bungee for insurance. This is the only reason it does not have 5 stars.Works nice.
