I had some friends who had lost the same thing and settled for "imitation" brands that were of inferior quality and wouldn't clamp hard enough to the GPS unit as well as suction cup failure during hot summers. This product is what it is. The original OEM mount from Garmin. If you're looking at this review, you already know what the original one was like and also you've probably lost yours as well! I went through many sites and this was by far the cheapest especially if you qualify for free shipping by ordering another item. I will probably end up buying this again if I lose mine for the second time!
