(More customer reviews)I have not used the SOS function yet but all the other features I have tested worked great. While designed as an emergency rescue beacon, it also is great for keeping the list of people you choose updated on your whereabouts. It is light but tough. I have had no problems reaching satellites from various places, city or in the boondocks. The peace of mind is worth the price alone.
